Prof Jeyakumar Henry, Senior Advisor, Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation, A-STAR (SIFBI). Food has played a pivotal role in human history. With the link between diet and health well established, this lecture traces how food technology has impacted and improved public health. It explores the considerable opportunities that are emerging for closer collaboration between food technology and nutrition, that will truly make food the “new medicine”.
