Contribution to Food Safety Award – an individual, a team, or an organisation who has made a significant improvement to food safety in New Zealand. This could include developing or improving a food safety process or operation. It could be in one sector or across a few.
If this sounds like someone or an organisation you know, please visit this MPI web page for more information on how to nominate. Or pass this information to them directly, as self-nominations are also accepted. Nominations close at 5pm, 23 May 2019. To make nominations easier, this year there is an online nomination form available for the first time.
The award will be presented at the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology (NZIFST) awards dinner on 3 July 2019 in Christchurch. Previous winners of the award are Professor Nigel French (2018) and Dr Lesley Rhodes (2017).
