The focus of the NZIFST Exceptional Industry-Research Collaboration Award is on how working together for a common purpose has contributed to real-world impact for New Zealand's food industry.

What makes this award unique?
Unlike NZIFST's other awards, this one focuses on teams, not just institutions. It values diverse contributions—from researchers to industry partners—and highlights initiatives where science has led to industry adoption, upskilling, or new standards, and also where industry has identified problems to be solved.
What can you do?
